My 10-year-old is obsessed with gaming and wants a "cool" room, but I’m terrified of neon lights and cheap plastic decor. Is there a way to make a gamer room look sophisticated but still fun for him?
You need to focus on Geometric Depth. Instead of literal "gaming" symbols, go for 3D textures or dark tech patterns. Check out the geometric and blueprint-style murals on wallpaper for boys. I used a dark charcoal 3D pattern for my son’s setup. When you add some subtle LED strips behind his desk, the wallpaper catches the light and looks like a high-end tech studio. It feels "pro" to him, but looks like a clean, designer room to me.
