Use of Police (SAPS) statement in a disciplinary hearing

My employer instituted a disciplinary hearing against me and has submitted a statement I made to the SAPS as evidence in their document bundle. The statement was taken by a detective constable while I was at a police holding cell and I intend on disputingvthe statement as I was tricked into signing it under threat of not being released on bail until the matter concluded. It was written by the detective. I suffer from anxiety and I was not allowed access to my medication at the time. My question is, can this statement be legally used in an internal disciplinary hearing? Can the detective be called as a witness in an internal hearing ( employer has indicated that she will be called)?
