My boyfriend is from Zimbabwe and he has a South African ID, he applied for a job where he got shortlisted in the top 5 and after more assessments got informed that he had been impressive in all the assessments and they had decided to hire him.Upon the realization that he was a foreign national and cannot be able to obtain a South African passport,the offer was reversed.In the requirements for the job application ,this had not been mentioned.Can this be considered a case of discrimination?
