Just want more info on how it works when you are on sick leave in your notice month. Can they refuse to pay for that days or deduct any money for those days.?
I do have a sick letter because I hurt my back and must stay in bed for 10days to avoid having an operation.
Do you get paid annual leave for the month you are working your notice month and can an employer refuse to pay you the leave for the previous year that you could not take because it was to busy at work and you are are in a manager position at a Lodge?
You are entitled to 6 weeks' worth of paid sick leave during each leave cycle. The notice period should not have an impact on this. However, no annual leave may coincide with the notice period.
You are entitled to be paid for any outstanding leave days on termination of employment.
