After a disciplinary hearing, I was dismissed. In July, I have worked 5 days another 6 days I was on suspension. I have 17 days of anual leave left. Am I entiteled to any pay? The employer has made it clear to me, I will not be paid R1 nor will he give me the benefit of being able to claim UIF. I went to DoL and was told, I will not be able to claim without UI-19, which the employer is refusing to submit.
This seems to be a common practice. evrytime, someone gets dismissed, last salary is not paid and UI19 is not submited. DoL usually sends an inspector, but the company just ignores him and nothing happens.
