Hi,I worked for a company for four years and I only signed the contract once of which it was for one year then I continued working for the company.my problem is they don't want give a contract and sometimes I take time not working and now because of certain reasons I left because I was away from home,I asked for the uo19 for bacuwar they're not willing to sign me up but I was performing my duties multitasking with no complaints only my rights I was asking for from the company,so what can I do because I'm unemployed and have nothing?

Hi, i was dismissed in sept this year, applied for uif in oct, its been 2months and still cannot sign, reason been, the preschool i worked at filled in on my ui19 form saying i resigned, labour has phned them on several times bout this, and all labour is saying, their have to wait for doc. Its almost xmas and i don't have a sent, i feel labour can do more than just let me come back everytime to see if documents are in order.

You claim UIF from the Department of Labour and not from your employer. If your employer has been deducting it from your salary over the years and contributing to UIF then you should be able to claim. As I understand it the Spur group is a franchise so each individual store would likely have its own payroll.

 

Again the Department of Labour is the correct place to go to claim taking with you your UIF number.

I worked for a company and contract was supposed to end next year June but they ended it this year June was suppose to go on martenity leave when they left they sighn papers to uif saying m still working for them and will come back in October while they are no longer there it's a new company I'm struggling to even get the martenity uif pay out its rejecting saying I'm blocked wich means company have claimed my uif while I was still working and did not get it I'm struggling no uif pay out no martenity pay out only holding papers which says I'm going back to work on October while the is no company that I worked for pls help

M son worked in retail for almost 2 years.  He received TERS during COVID from March 2020 to about July 2020.  

As I have a bronchial issue, he decided that it would be best for him not to be in retail as his exposure to COVID was too high - he lives at home with us.  

He stated in his letter that he wanted to continue to work but that our domestic situation during the COVID lockdown was such that he would have to leave to avoid endangering me.  He was not informed that he could have a dismissal by mutual agreement which would have been more appropriate.  He was coerced into resigning which he did, providing the whole background to the resignation.  I realise they have no obligation to provide him with a UI-19 but I feel they should as he had special (unprecedented) reasons for his resignation.  He may well be able to motivate for a UIF benefit given the special circumstances but will not be able to do so without a UI-19.  

If there is any special advice on this matter, we would greatly appreciate it.

Hi, ive been getting my uif money from previous employer that I worked for 5 years and got the money for 3 months then it stopped because I got a job from Capri went on Training signed a contract and one of their requirements is that you use your car for traveling. It happened that I got an accident and could not resume and I reported the matter and now it's the third month since I started with no pay. I resigned but they refuse to give UI19 so that I can continue and claim my money from previous company since I never received a cent from them. Please help

I've been asking for my UI19 forms from my boss since march this year and still my boss doesn't want to send them through and m currently unemployed nd i have a newly born baby that i must feed and i do not qualify for 350 relief fund what steps should i take please help
