She havent got a contract nore a job description, what can see do, please advise
I think that this matter should be taken up with the department of labour. a normal working week ranges between 40 and 45 hours per week, again, this is very dependent on the sector that the person works in. different times applies for different sectors.
this means if the person works 40 hours per week, that is a 5day week, 8hours per day and one hour lunch = 9hours. and any time that is worked over and above this should be compensated for by the employer to the employee by means of over time. whether the employee is entitled to work ovevrtime or even qaulifies for paid overtime depends on the persons' position.
Please call the department of labour and report this to them immediately!!
