The father of my child has not paid any maintenance since September of 2023. Instead he gave an Ackermans credit card saying to buy things he needs from there. Is this legally okay? Am I not supposed to be getting money directly from him? Because there are things I can’t get from Ackermans such as food. I’m thinking of taking him to court, but my concern is it worth my time? Because I’ve been using the card but it’s not enough.
