Hi. I am a teacher at a small private school. I have basically been given the ultimatum of leaving the school in the new year or taking on an extra grade (I teach all subjects), with no extra pay (so double the work for no increase). The school is obviously saving us they are getting read of the other grade's teacher. I was just wondering if there's anything I could use to my advantage or as a leverage. I would consider the possibility of staying with my one grade or taking up the other grade with an increase but just simply believe it is not fair to do double the work without an increase. I am on a month to month contract, if that means anything.
