We recently went to an optometrist (A) and had an eye test done. Once completed we took the script to another place (B) that makes spectacles. When we received the spectacles, it worsened the blurred vision, caused intense headaches because of the eye strain and made things look lop-sided. When we complained the company (B) that made the spectacles assured us that they had indeed followed the script but would send it to the lab anyway to make sure that nothing went wrong on their end. Once the spectacles returned it was confirmed that they (B) had in fact made the spectacles exactly according to the script, the optometrist there (B) did a test and told me that the initial optometrists results are in fact wrong. However, because they (B) followed the script they are not liable for anything so the spectacles cannot be returned. Because place A gave us the wrong script we now have spectacles of no use. Is there anything that can be remedied in terms of place A taking some sort of responsibility for the cost of the spectacles that are now useless?
