hi I had a accident in 2020 where I broke my fingers the operation put pins in fingers .I'm back at work now already but am now receiving final demands for over R100000.

AT THE TIME I WAS INJURED I HAD A MEDICAL AID BUT WAS TOLD THAT ITS A MINE ACCIDENT AND AS SUCH SOUTH DEEP MINE IS RESPONSIBLE.ive never received any compensation nor expected any but am not going to pay for medical expenses when my employer is RESPONSIBLE.ive kept copies of all the reports for department of labor and mine doctors but I'm pretty sure it was never submitted  and all progress report etc. for physiotherapy etc. etc. .now I'm looking to change jobs but fear if I leave my employer wont settle his responsibilities 

what am I to do?
