Our employer would like to change the structure of our annual leave in our employment contracts. My contract states 20 days - they want to restructure it as 15 days statutory and the other 5 as priviledged or special.
Effectively i still get 20 days leave but have to take the 15 before i can access the 5.
Reason for this is to equalise the leave across the company and then award the extra days as per level and to incentivise. So one could have up to 10 days extra leave.
Are they allowed to make people sign new contracts effecting this change?
