We are 36 employees in the company and working for an online casino. On Monday, 15th of May we were informed that the casino might be sold. On Tuesday, 16 of May at 10 am we were informed that the business has been sold and retrenchment will now start to 34 employees.
Today we had to be back to sign our notice letters. However someone didnt receive a letter and the letters didnt include the amounts that everyone will receive. So I refused to sign as I am under the impression that with an incomplete letter and someone not receiving one, the notice period can not start if the process is not finalised. Also, are 3 days consultation in a retrenchment process correct?
