Hi

I started 7 months ago, no Job description no KPI's given, last month it was our 6months Performance review, then my Manager informed me that he's not happy with my performance.

He started with to draw up a job description and a KPI's, and in the review he than said I'm not performing, I told him I work so hard but he's changing the goal post.

After our discussion, he invited me on mail for a monthly performance review, and now he started with Stage1 counseling.

Non of the other HOD's has this monthly review.

 

In this regard what advice can you assist me with.

You need to adduce some evidence supporting any contention that you are not performing to their "standard" is incorrect. This can take the form of an increase of revenue, greater productivity, etc. If any dismissal for poor work performance is still done, regardless of such information, it could potentially be an unfair dismissal.

Good day thanks for your response

Things just got worst at work to extent I was diagnosed with depression, when I returned to work my boss waited for me at the main gate to inform me to come to his office before i go to my office

 

From there he informed me hr business partner will see us the Wednesday, but the Monday and Tuesday he my boss was every half an hour in the warehouse to check what my staff and I was doing.

The Wednesday I saw hr and him which I got anxiety attact and went into a severe depression which lead me to see a psychiatrist which indicated severe depression which was inflicted by my line manager.

 

I was booked of till 1st September but fear to go back to work.

What can I do going forward.

in your last reply you have indicated some facts which I find not reliable firstly I quote the answer you have received earlier hereunder namely:

You have stated:

Are you saying that as result of your line managers behavior (same unsubscribed) you suffered depression? or,  is it all all a possibility that you use "depression" not to complete your duties?

What proof can you provide that it was infact the manager that caused this condition?

"I was booked of till 1st September but fear to go back to work."

Why do you fear to go back to work? is it at all possible that maybe you are not eligible for your position due to your medical condition.
