Issues after resignation

Resigned via email on 06 April 2016, resigned via MS Word document (to make it official according to manager) on 07 April 2016. We agreed that if I complete handover, I could finish on 22 April 2016. Since resignation on 07 April 2016, I had my permissions reduced to very minimum so could not complete remaining task or handover, I complained, access was only returned back to normal at about 12pm on Tuesday. Was asked at about 6pm on Tuesday to do full handover to each employee of every task I do or have done in the past, they will check everything and verify, isn't one person enough (or all at once), again becoming a campaign to mess me around, not to mentioned I had no-handover on anything I worked on during over 5 years of employment (asked for it, was told I am busy). On Wednesday got sarcastic emails from both my managers, copying other people in the email as we'll relating to creating a database on production (done it in the past, no issue, so why an issue now).

Left company at about 10:45, sent the above via email to HR department at 11:45:51 on April 13, 2016. Phoned HR department later and asked if they received my email, she confirmed she did.

Today I got a missed call from HR Manager, asking if I could meet managers on Monday at company to discuss handover, I phoned back and mentioned to him I was prepared to work notice period but due to they way they are now treating me its getting difficult to remain at company. Also mentioned to HR Manager what they did to one of previous employees that resigned (one of managers provoked him to such an extent that the employee lost it and started screaming at that manager), result was he was walked out of the building.

I don't mind doing handover, but at same time I don't want to go through what employee had to go through as well. What do you suggest I do ?

While the issue has since passed, it is always important to remember that while working the notice period, the employee still owes the same duties to their employer. This includes the duty to comply with any reasonable instruction.

By the same token, the employer also has to comply with all the normal responsibilities as an employer, including not harassing their employees.
