Employment Anniversary Date

Good day. I need advice on the anniversary of employment date for myself. In November last year, I had given my manager my letter of resignation as I had received a better offer elsewhere. My manager had then given me a counter offer to which I agreed and stayed with the company. Along with this, I was promised an annual increase on the anniversary of my employment every year. My anniversary of employment is February each year. After enquiring with my manager about my increase, i was told that since I wanted to resign, my anniversary of employment has changed to November instead. Does this mean that my service for the past year has become null and void even though my resignation was not accepted and I didn't physically leave my company? Please help.

No. A letter of resignation is a notice of intent to cease your employment. Since your service was never broken, you cannot be deemed to have only entered the employment of your employer in November.
