Good Morning

I was in a permanent position at my previous work.  The owner of the work that I work for she offered me a job as a manager at her guesthouse 2 and half years ago.  Initially they start phoning me 3 months before I agreed to take the offer.  They actually harassed me it I can say it in that way.  it was back words and forward with this request from me before I accepted.

My previous boss was so nice to me when I resigned as he did not want to accept my letter of resignation immediately.  He told me to go home as it was a long weekend to think about it and then I could give the letter on the Monday.

The Sunday before the Monday I sms my new boss that I am declining the offer based on that I will miss my grand children to much.  Then she replied also via sms that the children can come and visit any time for free and if the guesthouse is full she has an empty flat around the corner and they are welcome to come and stay there at any time.  We relocated ourselves from one town to another.  The very first Christmas holidays they had to shortened their holiday due to the fact that she now decided to rent out the flat that she offered via sms which I still have on my mobile phone.  Needless to say I was very upset and told her that and then she promised that they will try and fix the boardroom with bathroom facilities then they can use that with future visits when the guesthouse is full.  2nd year want by without those promises being filled.  Now again this year I asked them if I can book a room for free for the children this year for the holiday season then I was told they must sleep in the boardroom without any bathroom facilities.  Now to me this is breach of contract.  There were al lot of other promises also made to us for accepting the position.

I feel that I was mislead to accept the position as I decided to take the offer based on the sms that was sent to me.  What do I do, I had a very good position and the boss even kept my position open for 2 months incase I decided that I made a mistake, but then everything was too nice, because the current owner was scared that I could go back.  We must also use our own car for purchases with no help what so ever when the car break we only buy petrol out of the petty cash , which I feel is also not right.

So please give me advice what is my rights here.
