I have been traveling to a client and is required to be on-site every day as part of the customer contract with the employer. I've been claiming mileage for the difference between traveling to work and the client. For instance. I stay 10km away from work and have to travel an additional 50km to get to the client and 50km back. The employer compensated my for the additional travel, but now they want to take this away and force me to pay my own traveling. This has an impact to me, as I had to buy a vehicle to do the traveling, which I now have to use on my own cost. Is this an unfair labour practice? I believe so but need advice. I also have membership to Labour Protect, but have never used it. How do I go about please? Many thanks.
