I developed irritant contacted dermatitis disease work related, the first dr I saw in 2013 ask me that the employer must complete Employers report of an occupational disease, which they did not and continue saying it is a house related problem and not work related problem, I got a 2 nd opinion again from another dr also stated that it is contacted dermatitis and my work still did not accept this, eventually they sent me to a dr of their choice in 2014/09 which also did test and confirmed occupational disease which they still said that it is a not work related.

In January 2015 they sent me again to the dr which confirmed that it is a irritant contact dermatitis and I may not wear gloves.

I am a registered nurse.

The work had a consultation with me saying that I may not wear gloves as the dr confirmed it .

Now they want to demote me if they have a suitable position  if I do qualify for the job which according to them there is none present and if they have I must relocate and then they are going to reduce my salary , I am the bread winner and are trained in what I am doing or they said I must go and look for an alternative job in sales or repping.

They want to consult again quickly to give me alternative with lower salary and grade and if I don't accept I will get dismissed. Who can I contact for advice for the next consultaion.

Refer to http://www.labourprotect.co.za/Ill_Health_or_Injury.html for information pertaining to injuries and ill health. Where there is no prospect of finding alternative employment for the employee, dismissal can be justified.

Since the injury arose due to your employment, consider the information at the following link: http://www.labourprotect.co.za/compensation_Commissioner.html
