I applied for leave in 2014 and it was approved.However a week before I went on leave I fell ill at work and was sent home..The next day I went to the doctor and had a certificate.The next week I went on leave and today when i returned to work I was told my leave had been cancelled and the week I had been at home will now be handled as a week of unpaid leave.If my leave was cancelled was I not supposed to be informed before I went On leave? Is this legal?
