FORCED TO WITHDRAW MY GRIEVANCE PROCEDURE
Permalink

Good day

To make a long story short, I am harrassed by by Team leader on several occasions.  I finally submit a grievance procedure and handed it in to HR.  I was suppose to give the letter to my Head of department but did not know. I was called in by the Head of Deparment where they told me to withdraw the grievance as I did not follow correct steps.  While discussing the matter they made jokes of the grievance.

Is this legal and what can I do.

If there is an internal procedure, you must comply with it.

You can submit the grievance in terms of the correct procedure.

I am constantly being treated badly by one of the directors in the company (unfortunately it is the wife of my immediate boss, the managing director).  I am being screamed at, accused of not doing my work, not doing the minutes properly while the dictation I need to type minutes from is of a bad standard, nobody else in office ever had problems with my minute typing from dictation.  The whole thing started from the day she started seeing my ex-husband privately and I came to hear from it and confronted her as it is also her future brother in law.  I am really at my wits end as nothing I do is good enough in her eyes and I cannot discuss this with the managing director as he will always take her side.

I need some help urgently as I cannot afford to loose my job.
