Shared full-time post with benefits - who gets the benefits?

If a post is equally shared between 2 people - how are the benefits divided?

Is it fair that one of the two employees gets all the benefits whilst the other has no benefits?

A post is not to be equated to a contract. You are each party to separate employment agreements and hence have individual benefits. If one employee is not receiving the same benefits as the other but fulfill the same function, then it is possible that it is discrimination.
