savings plan

Hi

I took a savings plan option with Company A (not a bank but a financial institution). Every month a fix amount was deducted from my account. This money was invested by Company A in different other investments of Company B, C etc. as their managers decided where to invest. The basic understanding was that when I decided to withdraw my money I will get all my money back and accumulated interest like a normal savings plan.

A few years ago Company A withdraw all investments with Company B, C etc. and invest everything in Fidentia. When I withdraw my money recently I received all my payment and interest during time which Company A invested in company B, C. However, I did not receive any payments and interest for the time Company A invested my money with Fidentia. They say it is not their problem to give me my money. I must wait for the Fidentia curatorship to pay them and then will pay me.

Are they correct in saying that it is not problem or are they responsible seeing that they took my money every month and invest it at their discretion?
