Please assist. I have for more than 3years been given guaranteed 50 hours overtime as to adjust my salary until salary reviews will allow for a more permanent salary. this was a verbal contract between director and myself. all overtime gets signed off by regional executives and was never contested until this director left the company. nearly a year after this director has left I was told to revert back to clocking as per normal and booking my overtime as per normal and will be paid according to what I have worked. I guess this is right, however I believe that after 3years of receiving 50 hours I should be getting this as a permanent adjustment to my salary and this should not be taken away. I have grown use to this money and have built credibility at the banks cause my pay slip reflects 50 hours extra for the past 3 years. please advise if I have a foot to stand on when demanding the adjustment to permanent.
