Hello,

 

I tendered my resignation on 16 September 2014 with effect 1 October 2014 and intended to lodge a case of Constructive Dismissal with the CCMA.

 

The Company dismissed me on 26 September 2014 for arbitrary reasons.

 

I referred the matter to the CCMA.

 

Company now claims that they simply let me go before the end of my notice period.

 

Does the company's actions render the effective date of my resignation irrelevant in this matter?
