Good day,  I'm having some trouble finding information on which steps to take if it took 6 months for doctors to find the cause of my injury which resulted in the company bullying me into resigning as I couldn't perform some duties during the time doctors were running tests.  I am a chef and I was injured in August 2013. The injury was a result of having to work longer hours as they hadn't employed enough staff and the junior staff employed were not qualified enough to be left unsupervised.  It took the company 2 days to fill in a report and to assist with getting me to a doctor. On the day of my first medical, HR manager had been present for some reason which was strange. After my consultation the HR manager asked to settle the account privately and I was informed they hadn't completed their WCA registration. The company then tried everything to dismiss my injury saying it wasn't serious due to the fact that it was taking so long to confirm what was injured.  I eventually could no longer work or deal with the victimisation and left in December 2013. The company put it through as a retrenchment but the company deducted so much that i was left practically nothing. I was sent to numerous specialists and eventually after exhausting every possibility and avoiding an operation they had no other choice but to put a scope in to check the injury. The discovered that I had torn a tendon in my shoulder and required a very important procedure (see attached) to rectify it. I only had the surgery at the end of February 2014. I have only recently started being able to properly use. How can i recoup some sort of renumeration for loss of income and costs for this time period?  Hayley
