good day. In may a gentleman called me to run his jhb branch and offered me a great package. So i sold my company and started by him, after asking for a week for my employment contract i was finaly given one. But it said that in my 3 month probabtion he could fire me without a hearing and i would have to leave there and then. This did not sound right, but I was in no position to argue as i was stuck with no options. 3 weeks later he came in from Cape Town without warning and fired me.Swearing and screaming. I said but surly if you were not happy with my proformance you could have told me? He replied he does not have to justify himself to anyone as it is his company and i signed the contract. I am now stuck as he did not even pay me for my time there, without a job and a family dependant on me. Do i have any legal foot to stand on? Thank you in advance
