We are looking to implement a voluntary reduced working hours policy- 90% per month ( 2 days off per month, 80% per month ( 1 day off per week) or 60% per month ( 2 days off per week)
My question is? Would this affect the annual and sick leave in any way? Would it need to be reduced?
You are free to adjust the amount of working days and leave days provided that you do not contravene the minimum requirements in the Basic Conditions of Employment Act 75 of 1997 which can only be excluded from the employee relationship under certain circumstances.
