My employer recently sent a letter to all employers.

One item was that they had gathered voice and video recordings. Our contract does not allow for monitoring of our telephones, emails and computers. Is this grounds for legal / ccma action against the employer?

Another point on the letter was that they knew who from management was passing leads to sub contractors. Since I am the one dealing with the subcontractors, do I have grounds for legal action on the grounds of defamation?
