I have been told by my manager that she might be retrenched and her work will then be shared between me and another employee as the company is in a bad financial situation. My position is very busy as it is and if I took on extra work, I feel that I should get paid more. What rights do I have as regards more pay and as to what extra work I will be able to do?Would I have to sign a new contract? I am a member of Labour Protect.
