My husband is a butchery mnanger, who earns over 120 000.00 pa he has been told by his boss that he has to work 11 hours a day 7am - 6pm with either 1 afternoon off a week or 1 weekend off a month.  Can you please advise whether this is lawful of not and what the maximum hours of work per week is.

This is not lawful. A maximum of 45 hours a week is allowable. Report the matter to the Department of Labour
