hi,I was attempting to do a section 28 trade test,which required me to obtain a particular letter from my employer who in turn offered me a voluntary termination of employment in exchange for this letter .I have now made the decision to accept for I need to be qualified in my trade in order to pursue a decent future.can I still claim. my uif benefits and is this lawful what they have done

They have also included in my termination letter a clause of restraint of trade .I signed under duress so is there anything. I can do to reverse this .

You can only get UIF if its a voluntary retrenchment. Its very difficult to reverse something you have signed. You will have to be able to prove that it was under duress.
