Dismissal of employee before full term of probation period (due to poor performance) HELP PLEASE!

Employee was hired during an extremely heavy work period - and has been found to repeatedly produce inadequate work, even through mentoring and assitance. (poor performance)

Do I have to keep them the full 3 months probation and then only review or can they be dismissed? (with the correct, fair procedures).

This is urgent as I will be out of the country soon and need the right person to help me!

PLEASE HELP! THANK YOU!!
