i have been retrenched and opted not to work the notice period of 4 weeks..... How long must I wait for my severance pay? And they have also not handed me my UI-19 so I can't start the UIF process. Any and all assistance would be very much appreciated.

You must be paid severance either on the date agreed upon, or within 7 days of you last day of work. Report the UIF matter to the department of labour.
