My ex-employer had been paying medical instalments for months after I had left the company. I was not made aware that they would be doing this before I left their employement, and I was not made aware that they were doing this until many months into my new employment, at which point I, I'm sure, they finally realised it themselves. I never made use of the medical aid benefits for which they are claiming payment. I had no knowledge of these benefits even existing after I left.

Do they have the right to claim repayment of the amounts?
