Hi Just wanted to know, if I resign before my probation period is up, will I need to pay my company back the money they paid to my recruitement agency? Its in a clause in my contract, but I was never made aware of it, and I was told it was just a basic contract. So I never read the entire thing. Will that part of the contrac be legal? Thanks.

The fact that you were not aware of the clause makes no difference. When you sign a contract, there is a presumption that you are aware of all clauses and have agreed to them. You would struggle to get out of this one and will almost definently have to pay the recruitment fee.
