i was sent an email by my boss's friend accusing me of reconstructing an email and lying about phoning him to confirm the appointment. he claims he did not receive any emails from me. i responded to his email in a very legal manner reserving my rights and isssuing my response without prejudice. i was not suspended, but was issued with a letter or notice to attend a disciplinary hearing which is coming up this week. i have in the last 3 years been through various insistances of victimismation and i do believe that this is now a loop hole to my boss to get rid of me. i seeked advice from our h.r manager but was told that she is busy an i must respond to the email as i see fit. i do have a feeling that they will dismiss me as they seem my "legal" response to this man as offensive, rude and unproffessional, not with standing the fact that he has blatantly accused me of lying and reconstructing emails, my question is if my offence is so bad which they claim is gross misconduct, why was i not suspended? because of their allegation against me wouldnt they be weary of me sending out another email? they did not conduct any investigation besides asking me to print the emails that i had sent to this person. and i still worked in a manner which was respectful even though my increase was withheld from me and i was not given a letter about it, i was told over the phone that my increase is withheld because of this email i had sent. i am very confused and also very nervous as they are quite powerful people and also i am a single mom and i cant afford not to work nor have any funds. my personal feeling is that them matter is unecessary and is a skape goat to get me out for once and for good why i dont know as i have been more than just a loyal employee.
