Hi there,

I need URGENT help please?  My manager has no respect for any one of us in the call centre. Both the manager and the supervisor speaks to us or let me rather just refer to myself and not speak for everyone.  Both my Manager and Supervisor is younger then me.  They shout and scream at me as if I am a child.  My manager accuses me of saying and doing certain things that I did not do and when I try and defend myself I just get told to keep my mouth and as he makes the decisions and if I dont like it I am more than welcome to leave.

There is so much more like for instance when we work overtime we do no get paid for it.  We do get Lunch breaks but not when we work nightshifts as we usually work alone in the building.  We work 9 Hour shifts and when our 4 day night shift is over we get Apparently 2 days off.  Which is not true as we start at 22:45pm and our shift ends at 08:00am the following morning.  So for that morning we worked 8 Hours and yet it is stated as our first day off.

Please HELP URGENTLY??

Any contravention of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act must be reported to the Department of Labour who would then send over an inspector to investigate. Also, victimisation and harrassment may be referred to the CCMA for concilliation BUT only after you have exhausted all internal procedures.
