I was pregnant with twins and at 31 weeks i was hospitalised as i showed signs of premature labour. I was in hospital until the birth of my sons at 36 weeks.
My employer considered the 4/5 weeks before birth as maternity leave and not as sick leave which i applied for. They argued that any leave caused by my pregnany and certified by my doctor as being booked of work (unfit to work) has to be maternity leave.
