I am an accounts clerk, but over the past year my duties have increased and i am doing the duties of a bookkeeper, i asked my boss for an increase, he consulted a recruitement agency to check if my salary is market related, as accounts clerk yes my salary is market related, but he refuses to see the extra duties i have, he asked me to give him a letter of motivation as to why i want an increase, i did that, but he hasnt spoken about it again, he acts like he forgot
Should i ask him again or forget about it. I am very upset and now dont even feel like working here.
I have been working for this company for almost ten year , recently I have change position from warehouse assistant to driver but I'm not happy with,eg 3120 to 4245 before any diductions is that fair?
In a case like this can a person refuse the extra tasks that have been assigned to them and the company does not want to pay for. That is after having discussed the increase and being refused the increase.
